Very good manual, in depth and complete. Only criticism is that some of the circuit diagrams are slightly blurry and hard to follow for long periods of time, but this is to be expected. Perfect for any maintenance required. Also contains the wiring diagrams of the control cable for constructing extensions.
Description Receive the color bar signal. Set the VIDEO STATUS to STANDARD. Set the COLOR TEMPERATURE to LOW. Select 1.PICTURE/SOUND from the SERVICE MODE. Set the initial setting value of the < S03 > (BRIGHT). If the brightness is not the best with initial setting value, make fine adjustment of the < S03 > until you get the best brightness. Press the [MUTING] key to memorize the set value. Set the VIDEO STATUS to THEATER. Set the COLOR TEMPERATURE to HIGH. Repeat the steps 4. to 7. as above. Input the 480i component color bar signal. Repeat the steps 2. to 10. as above. Input the 1080i component color bar signal. Repeat the steps 2. to 7. as above. Set the VIDEO STATUS to THEATER. Repeat the steps 3. to 7. as above. Receive the NTSC color bar signal. Set the VIDEO STATUS to STANDARD. Set the COLOR TEMPERATURE to LOW. Select 1.PICTURE/SOUND from the SERVICE MODE. Set the initial setting value of the < S04 > (CONTRAST). If the contrast is not the best with the initial setting value, make fine adjustment of the < S04 > until you get the optimum contrast.
