Having purchased a 1994 Kenwood music system from a Charity shop in 2013 (it was a high end product in its day), I found myself not quite knowing where to plug in what, and how to do this, that and the next thing. I needed a Manual, and after failure with another online 'Manual provider' I found Owner Manuals dot com. Well, I wasn't sure, but it was only $5, and if things didn't work out, I wouldn't have lost much...
But things DID work out. After paying my childrens inheritance money, $4.99, I was sent a Manual for my Kenwood System very quickly. Alas, it was in German, and being Scottish, I could not read it or get my system in order from it...a rapid email to them brought the English Manual in short order, and my retro-system was and IS up and running in it's regulation settings.
I am very grateful to http://www.owner-manuals.com for their quick service and for even having such an obsolete Manual in the first place! If you need a Manual for ANYTHING, try here first. I wouldn't be surprised if I bought a 1928 Marconi radio, and got the user Manual for THAT here too!

Using the CD Player
Press the SET button.
Program order number
The tracks will play in no special order when you use this mode.

Total playback time of the programmed tracks
Press the RANDOM button on the Remote Control.
The â€śRANDOMâ€ť indicator lights up on the display.
Repeat steps 5 and 6 to select the other tracks for the program.
You can see the total playback time of programmed tracks on the display. Also, you can see the programmed tracks on the music calendar.
Press the CD #/8 button.

The tracks are played in random order. To skip a track during playback, press the Â¢ button to jump to the next track in the random sequence. Press the 4 button to jump back to the start of a track being played. To exit Random Play mode, while the CD Player is stopped, press the RANDOM button to light off the â€śRANDOMâ€ť indicator and carry out Normal Play, or press the CD 0 button to open the Top Cover.
Press the CD #/8 button.
s You can skip to a particular program track by pressing the 4 or Â¢ button during Program Play. s To stop playing, press the 7 button once. To confirm the programmed tracks while the CD player is stopped, each time press the 4 or Â¢ button; the tracks making up the program will successively be displayed in the programmed order. To delete all the tracks in the program, in stop mode, press the 7 button. Pressing the CD 0 button to open the Top Cover will also clear the programmed tracks. To exit the program mode once, while the CD Player is stopped, press the PROGRAM button to light off the â€śPROGRAMâ€ť indicator.
You can repeat all tracks or individual track, as many times as you like. Press the REPEAT button on the Remote Control. The Repeat indicator changes with each press of the button, as shown below. = ALL=blank display = (back to the beginning) : Repeats one track. ALL: In Normal Play mode, repeats all the tracks. In Program Play mode, repeats all the tracks in the program. In Random Play mode, repeats all the tracks in random order. To exit Repeat mode, press the REPEAT button until the Repeat indicator on the display goes out. s In Random Play, cannot be selected. s Repeat mode remains in effect even when you change the play mode.
â€¢ If the total playback time of the programmed tracks exceeds 99 minutes 59 seconds, the total playback time will go out on the display. â€¢ If you try to program the 33rd track, â€śMEMORY FULLâ€ť appears on the display for about 2 seconds.
To Modify the Program
Modify the contents of the program while the CD Player is stopped. Each time you press the CANCEL button, the last track in the program is deleted. To add new tracks to the end of the program, repeat above steps 5 to 7.
