 HD-600 KENWOOD Owner's Manual by John Copeland;
Having purchased a 1994 Kenwood music system from a Charity shop in 2013 (it was a high end product in its day), I found myself not quite knowing where to plug in what, and how to do this, that and the next thing. I needed a Manual, and after failure with another online 'Manual provider' I found Owner Manuals dot com. Well, I wasn't sure, but it was only $5, and if things didn't work out, I wouldn't have lost much... But things DID work out. After paying my childrens inheritance money, $4.99, I was sent a Manual for my Kenwood System very quickly. Alas, it was in German, and being Scottish, I could not read it or get my system in order from it...a rapid email to them brought the English Manual in short order, and my retro-system was and IS up and running in it's regulation settings. I am very grateful to http://www.owner-manuals.com for their quick service and for even having such an obsolete Manual in the first place! If you need a Manual for ANYTHING, try here first. I wouldn't be surprised if I bought a 1928 Marconi radio, and got the user Manual for THAT here too! Top marks. John Copeland Glasgow Scotland

 PS-FL1 SONY Owner's Manual by Laurence White;
Thanks so much for the Owner's manual for my Sony PS - FL1. I had purchased the turntable off of eBay. It came in and looked great. Packed well and appeared to be great. I balanced and aligned the tone are and hooked it up. When trying to play a record the tone are would move to the right place and just before it would drop to play it moved back off the edge of the record before touching down. I searched the net for an answer to this issue. No luck. Then I purchased the owners manual and sure enough there was a place to adjust where the stylus touched down. That adjustment solved the problem and saved me a $35 feet to have the player checked out. The manual is well written and easy to understand. It is a must have for anyone with this front loading Sony turntable.

EXPOSURE Manual exposure adjustment is recommended in the following situations: When shooting using reverse lighting or when the background is too bright. When shooting on a reective natural background such as at the beach or in the snow. When the background is overly dark or the subject light. 1) Rotate the MENU Wheel 1 to select MANUAL, then press it. 2) To brighten the image, rotate the MENU Wheel 1 downward. To darken the image, rotate the MENU Wheel 1 upward. The exposure control level increases/ decreases (maximum ±06). LIGHT (LED Light) To brighten the scene when natural lighting is too dim. OFF : Turns off the light. AUTO: Automatically turns on the light when the camcorder senses insufcient lighting on the subject. ON : Always keeps the light on as long as the camcorder is turned on. It is recommended to set M.W.B. ( pg. 14) to in CAMERA MENU when you use the LED light. The battery packs charge may be low even though the battery indicator ( ) does not blink, the camcorder may turn off automatically when you turn on the LED light, or when you start recording with the LED light turned on. When the LED Light mode is set to AUTO: Depending on the lighting conditions, the LED light may keep turning on and off. While the Sports or High Speed Shutter mode is engaged, the light is likely to stay on. While the Twilight mode is engaged, the light will not activate. ( pg. 13, Program AE with Special Effects)

1/2000 (1/2000 sec. High Speed Shutter): Captures faster action than Sports mode. The screen becomes slightly dark. Use in well-lit environment. SUNSET: Makes scenes look like a sunset with reddish tint. SURF&SNOW: Compensates for subjects that may otherwise appear too dark when shooting in extremely bright surroundings such as in the snow or beach. In this mode, the fastmoving images can be recorded since the shutter speed becomes fast. In the High Speed Shutter or Sports modes, picture color may be adversely affected if the subject is lit by alternating discharge-type light sources such as ourescent or mercury-vapour lights. DIGIFECT (Digital Effects) OFF: To cancel the effect. SEPIA: Recorded scenes have a brownish tint like old photos. Combine this with WIDE in CAMERA MENU for a classic look. B/W:MONO : Like black and white lms, your footage is shot in B/W. Combine this with WIDE in CAMERA MENU for a classic look. B. FILTER: Recorded scenes have a bluish tint. R. FILTER: Recorded scenes have a reddish tint. SOLARI: The picture is recorded with an effect similar to a painting. NEGAPOSI: The colors of a picture are reversed. MOSAIC: Turns recorded scenes into a mosaic pattern. STRETCH: Doubles the width of the picture horizontally. FADE/WIPE Fade- or wipe-in works when recording begins, and fade-or wipe-out works when recording ends. Pressing and holding the Recording Start/ Stop Button " allows you to vary the length for the image during fade in/out or wipe in/ out. OFF: To cancel the effect. FADER: Fades in/out to a black screen. W.FADER: Fades in/out to a white screen. MOSAIC (Fader): Gradually turns/returns the picture into/from a mosaic pattern. SHUTTER (Wipe): A black screen moves in from the top and bottom, closing over the image like a shutter, or a new image pushes open the black screen vertically from the center.

P. AE (Program AE with special effects) OFF: To cancel the effect. SPORTS: High shutter speed clearly captures fast-moving action. ND EFFECT: A black mist darkens the picture, as when an ND lter is used. Helps to counter the effects of glare on the subject. FOG: Makes the picture look misty white, as when an external fog lter is attached to the lens. Softens the image and gives it a fantasy look. TWILIGHT: Dusk, twilight scenery, reworks, etc., look more natural and dramatic. In this mode, the Auto Focus ( pg. 10) and S.LX ( pg. 14) may not work.
