Very comprehensive document which is a must-have for any Satellit 2100 owner whose set up is somewhat intricate. Due to the bad quality of the pictures that are rather dark and a bit blurred I gave 4-star feedback.
The manual was missing 2 pages but when I presented the problem to the company they made every attempt to get the 2 pages to me, when they couldn't they refunded my money. A very pleasing and easy transaction. The manual they provided was the original, it was concise and to the point. I plan to do business with this company again when should the need arise.
The owners manual is very good. all my how to questions were answered in detail.

â The battery pack has not been attached correctly ( pg. 4). â The battery pack is not charged ( pg. 4). â The power supply has not been correctly connected ( pg. 5). â The battery pack has completely discharged. â Remove the cassette and disconnect the power source, then after a few minutes, try turning the power back on. If it still doesnât come on, consult your nearest JVC dealer.
No power is supplied.
The power suddenly goes off and doesnât come back on by itself.
Recording cannot be performed. â The recording tapeâs Erase Protection tab is missing. Cover the hole with adhesive tape. (Some tapes have sliding tabs. In this case, check the position of the tab.) â The camcorder Power switch has not been set to âCAMERAâ ( pg. 10).
Recording does not start.
The tape is running, but thereâs no playback picture. Noise bars appear in the playback picture. Playback picture is blurred or interrupted. The counter indication is blurred during Still playback. â The TV has not been set to its VIDEO mode. â If A/V connection is used, the TVâs VIDEO/TV switch has not been set to VIDEO. â Manual Tracking has not been performed ( pg. 29).
â The video heads are dirty or worn out. Consult your nearest JVC dealer for head cleaning or replacement. â This is normal.
The tape stops during fast-forward or rewind. Rewinding or fast-forwarding cannot be performed. â The Counter Memory Function has been activated ( pg. 29). â The tape is already fully wound on one reel or the other.
