I purchased the unit from a private party and the original owners manual was not available. Having the ability to download it was extremely helpful and clarified operating the equipment immensely. This is a complicated unit and without the manual I would not have been able to maximize it's potential. Thank you.

Dubbing Images Stored In A Memory Card To A Tape (GR-DVL557/DVL555/DVL357/DVL355 only)
Images can be dubbed from a memory card to a tape.
To locate the point where you wish to dub a still image, play back the tape. Stop playback at the desired point. Set the VIDEO/DSC Switch to â â, then set the Power Switch to â â while pressing down the Lock Button located on the switch. To select a still image to be dubbed, perform Index Playback ( pg. 29), Auto Playback ( pg. 28) or press 2 or 3 to select the image you wish. To engage Dub-Standby, press SNAPSHOT. The message âTO COPY TO TAPE PUSH "SNAPSHOT"â appears. While the message is being displayed, press SNAPSHOT. The selected still image is recorded on the tape for approx. 5 seconds. â¢The indicator disappears when dubbing is complete.
