Having bought a pre-owned Sony FM stereo tuner through eBay, it came without any manuals. It soon became clear that to get the best from this excellent tuner I needed a decent manual because much of the operation was not intuitive to a newboy to hi fi like me. I managed to download the official Sony multi-lingual manual from Owner-Manuals.com with no problem at all - a really quick and easy service. I'm very glad I did because I found out all the operations of the tuner and was then able to not only set it up quickly but also to get much more from it that poke-and-hope trialling would ever achieve. In my book $4.99 very well spent.
This manual is immaculate in it's accuracy. Everything is written very clearly and easy to understand. Written by a professional who wants to convey a clear and easy to understand message!!

LOAD A CASSETTE
Make sure the window side is up, the rear label side is facing you and the arrow on the front of the cassette is pointing towards the VCR. Donât apply too much pressure when inserting. â The VCRâs power comes on automatically. â The counter is automatically reset to "0H 00M 00S". â If the cassette's record safety tab has been removed, playback begins automatically.

If the tape is advanced past the start point, press REW or turn the SHUTTLE ring to the left and release it. To go forward, press FF or turn the SHUTTLE ring to the right and release it.
Press STOP or STOP/EJECT. Then press STOP/EJECT to remove the cassette.

FF (Fast-Forward) REW (Rewind)
â Compact VHS camcorder recordings can be played on this video recorder. Simply place the recorded cassette into a VHS Cassette Adapter and it can be used just like any full-sized VHS cassette. â This video recorder can record on regular VHS and Super VHS cassettes. However, it will record and play back regular VHS signals only. It is not possible to play back Super VHS recordings.
