thanks for this download i got a pioneer bdp-lx70a blu-ray player and it had no manual i search everywhere on the internet and came across owner-manuals.com and i found that it was so easy to find and downloaded from this site if i ever need a manual again this would be the first place that i would come too thanks guys

When Using The Illumi-Guide Feature
Press OK, and the Video Plus+ Program screen appears (if youâre just starting out, âP1â appears). The display panel shows the programme start time. Pressing PROG CHECK changes the display to the programme stop time, then the date and preset position.

â Buttons light or blink on the remote control for approximately 10 seconds. If the button or buttons extinguish during timer programming, press ILLUMI GUIDE and the button or buttons previously lit or blinking come back on. If the button or buttons do not re-light or start blinking again, press MENU and re-perform the timer programming procedure from the beginning. â If for some reason the remote control's signal is not received by the video recorder, press MENU and re-perform the timer programming procedure from the beginning.
Satellite Receiver Users
Be sure to confirm the setting of PDC recording. â If " ON" is displayed on the screen or " " is lit on the display panel, PDC is set to ON. â If " OFF" is displayed on the screen or " " is not lit on the display panel, PDC is set to OFF. To change the setting, press : PDC (NUMBER key "7"). "PDC Recording" on page 26. â Make sure the preset position number you wish to record is displayed; if not, see "Video Plus+ Setup" on page 12 and set the Guide Program number for that PlusCode number correctly. â If the number you entered is invalid, "ERROR" appears on the screen and "Err" appears on the display panel. Press CANCEL to backspace and input a valid PlusCode number. â If "ERROR=GUIDE PROG" appears on the screen, see "ATTENTION â Regarding Guide Program Number Set" in the right column. â If you are using the Illumi-Guide feature, OK blinks.
To timer-record a satellite broadcast using Video Plus+: â Before you start step 1, be sure to set the recorder's input mode to "AUX2" ( pg. 33). Do NOT change the input mode until the selected programme has been timerrecorded. â Before the selected programme begins, select the appropriate channel on the satellite receiver, and then set the receiver's timer. If your satellite receiver does not have a timer, leave the unit's power on.
Regarding Guide Program Number Set
"ERROR=GUIDE PROG" appears after performing step 3 on the previous page if the Guide Program number for the PlusCode number you entered has not been set. â If the recorder is in the stop or rewind or fast-forward mode, the following screen will appear with "â â" under "TV PROG" flashing. â¢ Press the NUMBER keys or PUSH JOG %ï¬ to input the preset position number you recorder receives that station on, then press OK.

(Ex.) To timer-record a BBC2 programme with Video Plus+ * If your recorder receives BBC2 on the preset position 2, press OK after entering "2".
To Delay The Stop Time . . . . . . press ADD TIME after pressing OK in step 3. Each time you press, the Stop time is delayed by 5 minutes (meaning that 5 minutes of recording time is added). You can easily compensate for anticipated programme schedule delays this way. To Timer-Record Weekly Or Daily Serials . . . . . . after pressing OK in step 3, press WEEKLY (NUMBER key â9â) for weekly serials or DAILY (NUMBER key â8â) for daily serials (Monday â Friday). Either "WEEKLY" or "DAILY" appears on the screen. Pressing the button again makes the corresponding indication disappear.
You can programme this recorder to timer-record as many as 8 programmes. If you try to programme the recorder to record a ninth, "PROGRAM FULL" appears on screen and "FULL" appears on the front display panel. To record the extra programme, you must first cancel any unnecessary programmes ( pg. 30).
â¢ Press MENU, then try again from step 1. â If the recorder is in a mode other than the above mentioned modes, press MENU first and input the correct Guide Program number for that PlusCode number ( pg. 12, "Video Plus+ Setup"), then try again from step 1.
