Everything in the manual was excellent except for a couple of pictures of specific areas in the unit that were a little dark. Owners Manuals re-sent the pdf file & the problem was corrected. Excellent product! George
This is the original manufacturers service manual, with detailed info on the circit boards, explosion drawings of all parts in assembly order, and tuning instructions. MODE-PLAYBACK Input Signal-Alignment Tape (MHP) INSTRUCTIONS 1. Connect CH-1 on the oscilloscope to TP3002 and CH-2 to TP8001. 2. Playback the alignment tape. (MHP) 3. Press and hold the Tracking-Auto button on the remote control more than 2 seconds to set tracking to center. 4. Press both CH UP button on the set and the STOP button on the set for more than 2 seconds.
