â¢ When âCEQ LINKâ is set to âLINK ONâ The selected sound mode can be stored in memory for the current source. Each time you change to the same source, the same sound mode is also recalled and shown on the display. The CEQ indicator also flashes. â¢ When âCEQ LINKâ is set to âLINK OFFâ The selected sound mode effect applies to any source.

You can adjust the sound modes to your preference and store your own adjustments in memory. â¢ There is a time limit in doing the following procedure. If the setting is canceled before you finish, start from step 1 again.

Equalization pattern changes as you adjust the bass or treble. Ex.: When you adjust âTRE (treble).â
Press BAND MODE (M) to make the number buttons work as different function buttons.
Repeat steps 4 and 5 to adjust the other items.

Repeat the same procedure to store other sound modes.
Activate custom equalizer (CEQ).
The last selected sound mode is recalled and applied to the current sound.
To reset to the factory settings, repeat the same procedure and reassign the preset values listed in the table on page 23.
