Thank you for having the manual I needed for an older model Aiwa stero I had found on Ebay --- I wanted the Aiwa because I had tapes and cd's but I did not have a manual as to how to operate the system... I found what I needed and it has enabled me to set the system up for my enjoyment.
The manual was very helpfull, it answerdes all my questions, and i was surprized to find the original manual on this site! Big thumbs uP:)

Adjusting the sound
You can adjust the sound characteristics to your preference.
BAS*2 (bass) TRE*2 (treble) FAD*3, *7
Adjust the bass.
â06 (min.) to +06 (max.) â06 (min.) to +06 (max.) R06 (Rear only) to F06 (Front only) L06 (Left only) to R06 (Right only) LOUD ON J LOUD OFF 00 (min.) to 08 (max.) 00 (min.) to 30 or 50 (max.)*6
Adjust the treble.
Adjust the front and rear speaker balance.
*1 Displayed only when âL/O MODEâ is set to âWOOFERâ (see page 21).
Ex.: When âTREâ is selected
Adjust the left and right speaker balance.
Boost low and high frequencies to produce a wellbalanced sound at low volume level. Adjust the subwoofer output level.
Indication pattern changes as you adjust the level.
SUB. W*4 (subwoofer)
Adjust the volume.
*2 When you adjust the bass, treble, or loudness, the adjustment you have made is stored for the currently selected sound mode (C-EQ) including âUSER.â *3 If you are using a two-speaker system, set the fader level to â00.â *4 This takes effect only when a subwoofer is connected. *5 Normally the control dial works as the volume control.
