My first manual from Owner-Manuals.com but not the last! I am very satisfied with the easy ordering and promt delivery of a manual I did not find anywhere else.
This manual is very helpfull to use the Power Supply. All technical information has been available.
For service use the circuit diagrams are very good.
Very comprehensive document which is a must-have for any Satellit 2100 owner whose set up is somewhat intricate. Due to the bad quality of the pictures that are rather dark and a bit blurred I gave 4-star feedback.
The manual was missing 2 pages but when I presented the problem to the company they made every attempt to get the 2 pages to me, when they couldn't they refunded my money. A very pleasing and easy transaction. The manual they provided was the original, it was concise and to the point. I plan to do business with this company again when should the need arise.
The owners manual is very good. all my how to questions were answered in detail.
1 Turn On the Power

3 Adjust the Volume
On the front panel: To increase the volume, MASTER VOLUME turn MASTER VOLUME clockwise. To decrease the volume, turn MASTER VOLUME counterclockwise. From the remote control: To increase the volume, press and hold VOLUME +. To decrease the volume, press and hold VOLUME â. CAUTION:
Always set the volume to the minimum before starting any sources. If the volume is set at a high level, the sudden blast of sound energy can permanently damage your hearing and/or ruin your speakers.
On the front panel
From the remote control
Press STANDBY/ON on the front panel or STANDBY/ON AUDIO on the remote control.
The STANDBY lamp goes off and the illumination lamp lights up. The current source name appears on the display. â¢ If the built-in DVD player is the current source, âREADINGâ appears while the unit is detecting the type of the loaded disc (see page 29). â Playback starts automatically when you load some DVD VIDEO. â âNO DISCâ appears on the display when no disc is loaded. To turn off the power (into standby) Press STANDBY/ON on the front panel or STANDBY/ON AUDIO on the remote control again. The illumination lamp goes off and the STANDBY lamp lights up.
Notes: â¢ The volume level can be adjusted within the range of â0â (minimum) to â50â (maximum). â¢ When DVD is selected as the source with your TV turned on, the volume level indication appears on the TV.
Note: â¢ A small amount of power is consumed even in standby mode. To turn the power off completely, unplug the AC power cord.
Listening with headphones
Connect a pair of headphones to the (phones) jack on the front panel. This cancels the Surround mode currently selected, deactivates speakers, and activates the HEADPHONE mode. The SPK. indicator goes off from the display. â¢ Disconnecting a pair of headphone from the (phones) jack cancels the HEADPHONE mode and activates speakers. HEADPHONE mode When using the headphones, the following signals are output regardless of your speaker setting: â For 2-channel sources, the front left and right channel signals are output directly from the left and right headphones. â For multichannel sources, the front left and right, center and rear channel signals are down-mixed and then output from the headphones without missing bass element. You can enjoy multichannel sound source using the headphones.
2 Select the Source to Play

Press one of the source selecting buttons.
DVD DBS* VCR : Select the built-in DVD player. : Select the DBS. : Select the VCR.
Be sure to turn down the volume: â¢ Before connecting or putting on headphones, as high volume can damage both the headphones and your hearing. â¢ Before removing headphones, as high volume may output from the speakers.
TV* : Select the TV tuner. TAPE/CDR* : Select the cassette deck or the CD recorder (front panel ONLY) TAPE : Select the cassette deck (remote control ONLY**). CDR* FM/AM
* Register the digital input terminal setting (see âDigital input (DIGITAL IN) terminalsâ on page 21) and digital input mode setting correctly (see âSelecting the Analog or Digital Input Modeâ on page 13). Source name and âDIGITALâ will come to be shown on the display when you select the source. **When the source name is not assigned correctly, these buttons cannot work (see âChanging the Source Nameâ on page 12).
