Whilst this is a photo copy, and some of the pages are a little askew, it was all readable and intact. A real bonus finding an old manual for a classic piece of kit that no other site had.
excellent quality, contains circuits and scan quality, 110 pages
It was easy done, and I got exactly what I was looking for.
The manuel was exactly what I needed and I received it promptly. Thanks
Thanks to Owner-Manuals.com! This manual was exactly what I needed. As Amana was purchased by Maytag and later by Whirlpool, there was no way to receive it from their websites. I was lucky to find this resource.
Adjusting the Volume
You can adjust the volume level only while the unit is turned on. The volume level can be adjusted between âVOLUME 0â and âVOLUME40.â When using the remote control, press VOLUME + to increase the volume or press VOLUME â to decrease it. When using the unit, turn VOLUME + / â clockwise (+) to increase the volume or counterclockwise (â) to decrease it.
Reinforcing the Bass Sound
You can reinforce the bass sound to maintain rich (âAHB 1â and âAHB 2â), full bass at low volume. This function only affects the playback sound, but does not affect your recording. To get the effect, press AHB (Active Hyper Bass) PRO until âAHB 1â or âAHB 2â appears on the display. The BASS indicator also lights up on the display.
⢠Each time you press the button, the bass sound change as follows:
For private listening Connect a pair of headphones to the PHONES jack. No sound comes out of the speakers. Be sure to turn down the volume before connecting or putting on headphones.
AHB OFF (Canceled)
âAHB 2â has much more bass reinforcement effect than âAHB 1.â To cancel the effect, press AHB PRO until âAHB OFFâ appears on the display. The BASS indicator goes off.
DO NOT turn off (on standby) the unit with the volume set to an extremely high level; otherwise, a sudden blast of sound can damage your hearing, speakers and/or headphones when you turn on the unit or start playing any source next time. REMEMBER you cannot adjust the volume level while the unit is on standby.
Selecting the Sound Modes
You can select one of the 4 preset sound modes. This function only affects the playback sound, but does not affect your recording. To select the sound modes, press SOUND MODE on the remote control (or SOUND on the unit) until the sound mode you want appears on the display. The SOUND indicator also lights up on the display.
Selecting the Display Brightness (ONLY FOR UX-P6R and UX-P5R)
You can change the display brightness only while the unit is turned on. To change the display brightness, press DIMMER on the remote control. ⢠Each time you press the button, the display dims and brightens alternately.
⢠Each time you press the button, the sound modes change as follows:
ROCK FLAT JAZZ (Canceled) POP CLASSIC
Gives a heavy sound. Boosts low and high frequency. POP: Good for vocal music. CLASSIC: Good for classical music. JAZZ: Gives a feeling of live atmosphere. Good for acoustic music. FLAT: The sound mode is canceled. The SOUND indicator goes off.
