Title search (MP3/WMA only) File search (Alphabet search)
You can search a track title you want by specifying up to first five characters. For example, to search the track title âCHAMPIONâ, you can specify âCâ, âCHâ, etc. In the following example, âCHâ are specified. â¢ Note that search is made for the track title (file name) and not for the ID3 tag.
Select the track title you want.
1) Press MODE.
You can search a group you want to play. Search is made for the group title (folder name) and not for the ID3 tag.
2) Press Â¢ or 4 to select the track title you want.
In stop mode or during playback, press A.S.P./ T.SEARCH two times.
In stop mode or during playback, press A.S.P./ T.SEARCH.
âAâ flashes. Track title changes.
(Group 1) (Group 2)
Enter the characters âCHâ, for example.
1) Press Â¢ or 4 repeatedly to select âCâ. (âCâ flashes.) 2) Press 6 to enter âCâ. The first track title that begins with âCâ.
â¢By pressing SOUND, you can scroll the track title. To cancel scrolling, press SOUND again. â¢If there is only one track that begins with âCHâ, the track title does not change.
Press Â¢ or 4 repeatedly until the group you want is displayed on the first line.
The selected track starts playback.
(Group 2) (Group 3)
â¢ To exit the File search (Alphabet search) mode, press 7 or A.S.P./ Group number Track number T.SEARCH repeatedly at any time to return to the normal display. â¢ When playback starts, the File search (Alphabet search) mode is automatically released. â¢ If you leave the unit for more than 30seconds during operation, the File search mode will be cancelled and the display returns to the normal one.
â¢ When you want to play from the first track of the group, skip the following 3 and 4, and proceed to 5.
To specify a track in the group, keep depressing Â¢ or 4 until the letter âT (Track)â is displayed.
(Track 1) (Track 2)
â¢ If no track title begins with âCâ, âNO Fileâ is displayed. In this case, press 7 to cancel the character. â¢ When you specify only the first letter of the track title, skip the following step 3), 4), 5) and proceed to 3. 3) Keep depressing Â¢ until âGHIJKL:â is displayed for entering the next character âHâ.
â¢ By pressing SOUND, you can scroll the group title and track title. To cancel scrolling, press SOUND again.
Each time Â¢ or 4 is kept depressing, the character set cyclically changes as follows: [Character set]
Press Â¢ or 4 until the track title you want is displayed on the first line. Press 6.
Playback starts from the selected track of the selected group. When playback starts, the Group Search mode is automatically released.
