The manual was exactly what I wanted and I found it nowhere else. Thanks!
Having purchased a 1994 Kenwood music system from a Charity shop in 2013 (it was a high end product in its day), I found myself not quite knowing where to plug in what, and how to do this, that and the next thing. I needed a Manual, and after failure with another online 'Manual provider' I found Owner Manuals dot com. Well, I wasn't sure, but it was only $5, and if things didn't work out, I wouldn't have lost much...
But things DID work out. After paying my childrens inheritance money, $4.99, I was sent a Manual for my Kenwood System very quickly. Alas, it was in German, and being Scottish, I could not read it or get my system in order from it...a rapid email to them brought the English Manual in short order, and my retro-system was and IS up and running in it's regulation settings.
I am very grateful to http://www.owner-manuals.com for their quick service and for even having such an obsolete Manual in the first place! If you need a Manual for ANYTHING, try here first. I wouldn't be surprised if I bought a 1928 Marconi radio, and got the user Manual for THAT here too!
I was so happy that the owner's manual was available. It is well written and helped me to use the radio/CD player/recorder without problems. Thanks for making it available.
Excellant!!! Very quick and easy....Best $4.99 I have spent in a very long time..
I highly recommend this.
Thanks so much for the Owner's manual for my Sony PS - FL1. I had purchased the turntable off of eBay. It came in and looked great. Packed well and appeared to be great. I balanced and aligned the tone are and hooked it up. When trying to play a record the tone are would move to the right place and just before it would drop to play it moved back off the edge of the record before touching down. I searched the net for an answer to this issue. No luck. Then I purchased the owners manual and sure enough there was a place to adjust where the stylus touched down. That adjustment solved the problem and saved me a $35 feet to have the player checked out. The manual is well written and easy to understand. It is a must have for anyone with this front loading Sony turntable.

Notes: ⢠You cannot use the MD player during charging the rechargeable battery. ⢠It takes approximately 1.5 hours to recharge the rechargeable batteries. ⢠Rechargeable battery has a service life of approximately 300 charge-discharge cycles. If the operating time on one full charge becomes noticeably shorter than it used to be, the battery has reached the end of its service life and should be replaced. ⢠The AC adaptor and rechargeable batteries may become warm while recharging is in progress. This is not a malfunction.
⢠Before replacing batteries, always turn off the unit. Rechargeable nickel metal hydride battery (BN-R127): ⢠Use only the rechargeable battery (BN-R127) supplied with the unit. ⢠If the power delivered by the battery lasts for a very short time after recharging, it means that the batteryâs service life is over. Do not use it any more. ⢠Recharging already charged battery will shorten its service life. ⢠When recharging battery for the first time or when it has not been used for a long period of time, the play time may be shorter than usual. In a case like this, repeatedly recharge and discharge the battery. This will restore it to its regular state. ⢠Do not allow any metal objects to touch the terminals of rechargeable battery since this may cause short-circuiting which is dangerous. ⢠Recharging shall be made at the temperature from 10°C to 35°C.
Using the AC adaptor
CAUTION: Be sure no battery is inserted into the unit and the battery case. 1 Attach the supplied battery case to the unit.
Turn the knob of the battery case toward âLOCKâ until it stops. (To detach the battery case, turn the knob toward âRELEASEâ until the battery case is removed.)
Dry cell battery and rechargeable battery: To prevent damage to the batteries and electrolyte leakage, heed the following points.
⢠Align the ª and · polarities properly when inserting the batteries. ⢠Remove the batteries if you do not plan to use the unit for a long period of time. Knob ⢠Do not throw batteries into a fire, and do not short-circuit, disassemble or subject them to excessive heat. ⢠Do not attempt to recharge dry cell batteries. Carrying batteries:
Set the switch of the charger/adaptor to âADAPTORâ. Connect the supplied AC adaptor and charger/adaptor.
When putting dry cell or rechargeable batteries in a pocket or bag, ensure that no other metal objects such as a necklace are placed together with them. Contact with metal may cause shortcircuiting which, in turn, may cause a fire. Be absolutely sure to carry the rechargeable battery in the battery carrying case.

Notice about the rechargeable battery The battery is designated recyclable. Please follow your local recycling regulations.
AC adaptor and charger/adaptor
⢠Handle the AC adaptor and charger/adaptor carefully. Improper handling is dangerous. ⢠Do not touch them with wet hands. ⢠Do not place heavy objects on top of them. ⢠Do not forcibly bend them. Note: The unit is in the standby condition when the AC adaptor and charger/adaptor are connected. The primary circuit is always âliveâ as long as the AC adaptor is connected to an electrical outlet. ⢠Be sure to connect only the AC adaptor and charger/adaptor provided with the unit. ⢠Disconnect the AC adaptor from the power outlet if the unit is not going to be used for a long time.
